It's not Tony - he wouldn't know who TOG was.

Can you imagine the tension for a would-be suicide? Having finally
decided to go for it, written the note, read the timetable, lurking
both despairing and yet terrified by the side of the track only to
hear, floating from the tannoy of a nearby station:

"We regret that the 10:40 express from Kings Cross has been
    delayed...."

That wasn't really what I was thinking about. I was more concerned for
the driver and the poor sods who have to clean-up afterwards. The 10:40
would probably have been delayed by another idiot jumping a few bridges
    earlier up the line.

Oh, sure. As I indicated ^ up there, it ca be messy. I didn't see
myself, but the driver was clearly shaken up, there was blood
spattered up the leading carriages (though I didn't see it) and there
must've been bits scattered all along the track - we were in the third
carriage, I think, and we heard an odd clattering (at first I thought
maybe a wheel had failed) then more banging and the rattle of ballast
being thrown up against the underside of the train. There was a slight
delay, then the train braked to a halt and there was much sitting
around wondering what was going on while officials wandered up and
down outside the train. Eventually we trundled and terminated at the
    next station.

Not only bad for the driver and maintenance crews but made us late for
a show in London, the selfish bastard.

Why? It's not the family's fault that the selfish bastard jumped.

I drive for the Underground, and I have had one.

2 months off, counselling and lots of tea and sympathy.

Actually, I would rather just drive a train and for it not to happen. I
still have moments when I relive it and it was 3 years ago.

    Skiving cunts.
You should get a roundel on the side of the train and a day off.

A friend who drive train for SNCF caught a dozen cows that escaped a
field. There was blood, guts and half dismembered cows along the tracks
for 3 or 4 hundred meters, and blood splashed on half of train.
    Quite gore.

When I worked for LUL, I met a driver who'd explained that he'd had
two jumpers. Poor bugger, he used to have nightmares on a regular basis.
I know you don't mean that.
