Na, nothing over the top. Just overtake carefully, don't make too
much noise and don't affect the funeral procession. He says the worst
ones are ones who go for the overtake and can't make it, so have to
slot into the procession. That really pisses people off.

I think we've already had some; didn't that guy with the bike trailer
    hearse try to advertise here?

  9. Jesus, that's a bit of a desolate spot for your last remains to spend
    eternity.

Nice ride there for the guy delivering you, though!

  11. .....and a bit of ginger fluttering about will add a bit of colour to
the place for the rest of us! If it hadn't been burned, of course.

I'd go with Izoard, Iseran or in the lush green valley around
Val'd'Isire. Even better somewhere on the hills over looking the sea
and Monte Carlo. Warm sunny & a bit of variation in the view. Not that
    I'd be seeing the view.

  14. I would have thought a nice spot overlooking the Black Horse would be
right up your street. Isolation, civilisation and natural beauty all in
    one and still local.

Not really, I can think of some far more picturesque places if I wanted
to do local, when I go I just like the idea of one final road trip..

If anyone would be a great role model for my son, it would be you. You'd
have to put up with him being a Liverpool fan though.

    I haven't lost my mind, it's
backed up to a floppy disc
    that's around here somewhere.

I'd expect the lads to do a few laps with me bungeed to the back of the

I carry a film canister of my Dad's ashes under the seat. He always loved
his bikes so I reckon he will still be enjoying it every time I ride.

">> The Best Exhaust Pipes In The World Ever :
    Yeah. I know.
Its the swoopy black 4-into-4 exhaust that I was on about. The rest of the
    bike is irrelevant.

    BTW :
I'm old enough to remember seeing those MVs brand new in the shops coz
nobody could afford the £2500 price tag.
And I remember being offered a 750s (America?) for £1950 brand new and on
the road by a desparate salesman in Carnells in Doncaster in 1976(ish).
Ye Gods! I wish I'd bought it and kept it!
