OK - here's another theory of mine. Feel free to shoot me down in
flames.

I hate jocks.

I don't know whether that term translates over here. But "jock" to me
isn't a Scot, it's a fooking sport dickwit. Usually football. Don't
care what the code is. Aussie Rules, Soccer (knew you'd hate that),
Rugby, Gridiron. Whatever. Then throw a love of every thing else that
has balls being hit into it. The fans get so passionate about it.
Fine, but then get the dickwit fans that get passionate about it and
you virtually have World War3. It's just a fucking ball man!

Music. I wanna see the World Music Cup in 2010. Everone arrives on
their bikes, chills out for 3-4 days.

****, sounds like I'm turning into a hippy. OK, they are chilling out
to some really good metal bands OK? When's the next Ozfest? I didn't
make it in time for the last one.

 

Bring back the Kent Custom Bike Show at Angel Park.

IME foreigners tend to be given a lot more chances to **** off and
behave by the police in this country than any Brit gets in most
foreign countries. Admittedly this is almost certainly due to the
foreign plod having to put up with Brits misbehaving more often
compared to others but that doesn't alter the facts.

I'd also suggest that the behaviour Mick described will be seen in
most English towns over the next 10 days. People that behave like that
don't save it up for their holidays.

That's as bad as taking them out of school to go on holiday.

IMO if parents contact the school and ask for permission to take a
child away outside school holidays and as long as it doesn't clash
with important course work then it shouldn't be an issue. Not everyone
can afford to go on holiday at peak times and a lot of people work in
jobs where they can't take their holidays during the normal holiday
periods.
