I am pleased to announce that after 6 months with stabilisers on, I
have just taken and passed my full Class-A motorcycle test.

    6 months ago Class-A2 = One fault
    Today Class-A = Four faults

    I guess that means something.

In other Tests for brain rot this morning were inconclusive,
which is probably a good thing. I shall celebrate by buying everyone
battered sausage & chips. Although not UKRM, obviously.

    Wahay!

    Good lad. Well done.
Better than a shocked expression and a gasped "Oh my *God*!" from the
    quack.
    Indeed.

    Well done, man. Nice one.
Yeah - you're rubbish ... but not so rubbish as to fail. Now you've
learned to pass the test, the real learning can start.
Wahay indeed. Had a brain scan and they still can't find it. Ho hum.

    I'm not sure.

Wisdom tells me to remove the ER-5 restrictor + replace chain &
sprockets, get rid of a few debts before spring and then get something
new(er) after the snow has cleared.

But I've never been one for wisdom.

Any idea where the two washers are for an ER-5 restrictor? I might
give my local garage a tinkle and see how much they'll charge to fanny
with the front brakes, replace the chain (and sprockets IF NEEDED) and
bin the restrictor at the same time.

    Thanks.

Both my riding school and the examiner were quite put out by having
both a full Class-A entitlement on my licence, and a provisional
Class-A entitlement on it at the same time. The examiner even asked
to see my CBT and Theory Test pass certificates and I had to explain
that I didn't need either as I have already passed the motorcycle test
    once.

People upgrading their licence can't be common in my area.

Real learning starting again after six months. Fear.

Things learned today: One can go up Dover Hill to Capel-le-Ferne so
fast that one scrapes the metal toe cap on ones left motorcycle boot
on the road surface and still obtain a pass from the DSA and get a
    Minor for going to fast.

One can also go up the same hill on the same test and get a Minor for
    going too slow too.

Wise words. If you clear some of your credit cards and loans, you can
get mortgaged up to the hilt with a new bike :)
Most likely in the front of the exhaust headers where they meet the
    pots.
    Lots, I expect.

  20. You got a more lenient examiner?

Well done. What are you going to buy, then? Presumably it'll be on tick
    ;-))
