Today I discovered a new method of fitting the delivery pipe so it
doesn't fall off or move around.

    http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2151/2196069756_7eff97829c_b.jpg

A 6mm P-clip and an 8mm one for the fatter pipe, drilled two 5mm holes
[1] in the underside of the swingarm and tapped them M6x1.0, then used
Stainless screws from a Daytona shark's fin to hold the clips in. I like
    neatness.

[1] R+G recommend this method to fit their shark's fins, which they sell
in the USA. No-one's ever heard of a swingarm failure because of the
    holes being drilled.

  2. Screws? Drilling Holes? Buying stuff? Some cable ties in a strongly
clashing colour is good enough for me. And why have you only got one of
those pikey single sided ones? Everybody who is anybody knows the
double ones offer much superior lubrication for even less oil.

I used the drills, taps and screws because I could. Only an Essex boy
would choose violently clashing colours and think it's the height of
good taste. Those twin spout jobbies are reknowned for not lubing
properly and going out of alignment, just before the spouts fall out and
drip oil all over the tarmac and not your chain. Never had a lubing
    problem with a single spout.

  6. No you misunderstand, good taste has nothing to do with it, it is Art.

I are not surprised. Most of those complaints will have come from those
who failed to take note of Mr Scotts fine advice on the way to do it
    properly.

    Neither have I.

I figured two 5mm holes won't make any difference. If the swingarm is
going to break it'll do it where the wheel spindle bolts through - the
holes in the swingarm are huge there. Plus, on the other side of the
swingarm are holes for the brake hose clamps, and the swingarms ever
    break there.

There's a sig sep thing too, but I think that may be beyond you atm.

OK, it's not possible for someone to be this fucking stupid, is it? Not
and be breathing at the same time.

    Come on, who's frogging?

No, what we lack is the4 tolerance to deal with idiots who either are,
or wish to be seen as, mobile-phone toting teenagers, who deliberately
want to challange 'authority', even if it's just group posting
conventions. Read the FAQ or be flamed to hell and beyond until you
give up posting here - your call.

Hold breath, type word, breathe. Drool. Breathe. Loll tongue. Breathe.
    Repeat ad nauseum.

Works for me, and long may it continue to work.

Do you like the way the pipework is hidden inside the brake hose tube

OK, I've got to ask the stupid question:

    WTF's a 'shark's fin'?

With respect to morocycles, of course - any answers of the ilk "it's a
fin from a shark" will be suitably ignored.

It's the little piece of alloy that hangs under the swingarm in front of
the rear sprocket to stop your foot going into the sprocket in the event
of a crash. It looks like an upside-down sharks fin.

You wouldn't have thought so but there's plenty of evidence to suggest
