I should listen to Lozzo

The insurance has been swapped from the ZXR to the new bike so I can
tax it before heading off on the Italy trip next week. Being a good
girl I'll not ride without insurance so the ZXR's wheels will not be
    spinning again, for a while.

This made my lip wobble a bit.

So I ignored Lozzo's advice and went and sat on it for a bit. I may
even have talked to it "Don't worry, I'd never break you into bits and
put you on ebay, despite what the spiccy one says"

    <sniff>

It will live again, one day.

  3. Using the patented Mavis Beacon "Hunt&Peck" Technique, Lady Nina
This may be the single most worrying sentence I have ever read on UKRM.

    Well done.

I was hoping to do a thanking Steve, Loz and Pip post yesterday...

I don't dare at the moment. Everything is done bar the exhaust, which
has gone away to be resleeved (is that the term?) and Loz (when we
last spoke) couldn't get hold of the bloke who has it. When it is back
    it is ready for MOT.

Ferry booked for Thursday. It may be the ZXR does a Status Quo and has
    yet another European farewell tour.

    Yes. NC24.

And it is a beautiful day, the green gunk quotient has diminished and
none of the 3 bikes I own have the correct combination of tax,
    insurance and MOT.

We have a spare one of those in the loft, all it needs are some new
    collars welding on.

Let me know if you get stuck.

It's not the same, this is an NC24 and the exhaust exits on the right
    side of the bike.

I still havent managed to get hold of the exhaust guy.

Ahh, right you are. In fact now I remember, our spare is for an NC30,
and the one on the bike is off an NC35
