RiDE Magazine's leathers test this month. No surprises there then.

  3. In uk.rec.motorcycles, Lozzo amazed us all with this pearl of wisdom:
Was "the only gripe with this suit" a piece of unfinished cotton trim
    that itched the tester's scrotum?

Because they've never heard of them?

    dwb says...
If a small firm like MJK sent a set of leathers every time a mag wanted
to test them, there'd be no profit left in those they did sell that
year. Loads of mags do destruction tests and the cost of an MJK or BKS
suit rules out giving every one of them a suit to destroy. ITYF that
MJK and BKS do send some suits for test, but not as often as the likes
    of Frank Thomas etc.

    Whinging Courier says...
Graham at GLF advertises in RiDE. Some journos have even put their own
money into MJK suits for when they ride for pleasure or for racing. It
takes a hell of a lot to make a journo open his own wallet.

No. That wasa Alpinestars, Dainese came second from last having been
well beaten by Frank Thomas and suchlike.

Winner was Hideout, but that was to be expected given the competition.
