I think I understand Loz's obsession better now.

Next door but 4 whose name I can never remember and who I've just had
to explain to that 'No Matt hasn't got rid of the ZX9 for a Pan'
(which shows how often we have a chat) has been poddling up and down
the close on an assortment of bikes this afternoon. I let the old kwak
go by, I had my fill at Chimay.

Then he came out on something that sounded lovely, all low and
grumbly. So off I went to have a look over a C reg RD350 that was as
new. His mate had restored it, had frame redone in red and it has
advertising plastics on it. Which weren't that effective as I can't
    remember what for - wranglers?'.

It just looked *right* and sounded even better.

    Oh, *right*. That obsession.

    That's OK then.

  3. Yeh would be a wrangler paintjob, mainly white with some blue and yellow
striping. I tried to google a pic but couldn't find one.

Look like this but in different colours?

It looked more like a sports bike,
Pretty but nothing like the one today.

That's more like it. Though this had a cleaner top line. Lovely it
    was.

Wrangler Jeans, they sponsored the RD350LC series back in the late 80s.
Their on race colours were blue, white and yellow
    Of course it did, it's a 350 Elsie; more specifically, a it's
    Powervalve.

I think he said it was 23 years old. Obviously i don't know what bits
were correct or not but ir looked like it had just come out of a
    showroom.

    It'll be an RD350LC F1 then if it's on a C plate, with a fairing like
Mike's fully faired one, but the tailpiece plastics and tank of his
bikini faired one. The F1 was a bit of a crossover model.

  11. Bit odd Wrangler colours on a fully faired RD, F1 or not, all the
Wrangler colours I've seen have been on LCs and LC2s. Nice colour
    scheme though.
