I thought 350 Morini clutches were meant to be dry.

The Morini has been weeping a bit of oil from the clutch cover after a
good run so I ordered some new clutch seals from NLM. Popped the cover
off today to discover it was pretty much operating as a wet clutch. I've
never seen so much oil in there before. If it hadn't been fitted with
the WeeVee conversion (spacers under the spring housings to increase the
load) it would probably have slipped like crazy.

The WeeVee hex head spring nuts speed up the job instead of the usual
slotted things and I was pleased to find my trusty clutch holding tool
after nearly twenty years languishing in the special tools box (old
plain plate bolted to a bit of steel flat stock).

New cam belt next in readiness for Cadwell in June. I can't actually
remember when it was last changed.
