There are some things in life that I really don't have to know.

Anyway, what happened to the old subtlety of UKRM, where things didn't have
to be spelt out in words of one syllable - too much dumbing down IMO.

do you take it up the arse?

(that was a rhetorical question, of course).

    Furry cup.

  9. What makes you think *I* am an expert? Though to be sure, it does
have some elements of the local shop's designs. Errm, so I've been told...

I'm hearing of cheap flights in the next two months, I might have
to check it out personally. I do _so_ need a holiday, I've been v. tired
lately. OTOH, the practice clerk took one look at my glucose levels
yesterday and immediately booked me an appointment with the doctor; I
might be joining the insulin brigade after all. :-(

    Oh dear!!
Don't worry about the insulin, you don't start there. If they try to
make you use Metformin tell them to FRO. Demand Actos.

  13. Thanks Champ, Bear, 'Hog. Guess I'll know the worst Monday night;
it might be a red herring, but pretty much all my cousins on my mum's side
(and there are a fuckload of 'em! She was the youngest of 13[1].) got
diabetes before 50 so I'm buckin' the odds @ just gone 54.
I rather thought obesity is the bigger bugaboo, not least because
obesity->diabetes but also because obesity->a shitload of other diseases.

[1] Granpa died at 34; in their irreverent moments his descendants suggest
    it was due to exhaustion.

It's not that difficult, just a sharp razor, some king of shaves gel
and a steady hand. Though Cane (seeing as he started this) probably
    waxes.
