  1. Not that anyone cares I suppose. 2600 mikes in all. And the ST performed
without a hitch. Did all the good col's. It was great.

PS: Don't have a fag at 10,333 feet. It will make you feel quite ill...

I didn't realise there were that many guys called Mike in Switzerland. And
as for the bit about the 'mile high club' - was he called Mike as well?

But you can get them duty-free from Switzerland.

OK, I'll try re-phrasing the question. Are cigs cheaper in Switzerland
    than in France?

From normal shops, or just the airport?

    Well, the airport, obviously.

There are limits on how many you can buy, of course, which don't apply if
you're buying tax-paid from EU countries. Personally, I don't see the
point of buying in bulk as they just go dry. But then 200 will last me at
    least a month.

What's the point? Anyone who's smoking so many fags that the cost is all

Obvious maybe if you know Switzerland's tax status (which I don't). I do
know you can get them duty free from any old shop in Andorra, hence the
question. The airport's no use unfortunately as I'm going on the bike. I
think a little detour to Eastenders in Belgium may be in order. Or a
very extended detour via Andorra on the way home. Actually I need a new
helmet, so that may not be a bad plan...

A carton of 200 in Andorra is around £35 cheaper than here - that's
quite a hefty saving if you buy a year's worth!

But they'll taste disgusting. IME cigarettes don't keep more than a
couple of months, at most. Even in cellophane they dry out. Perhpas
they'd be OK if you kept them in the fridge.

Can;t remember exactly - how much are they in Andorra? It's about £22
a carton here in CH atm (i.e. at current exchange rates).

Yes. Much. Gone up recently to about chf 5.20 a pack - about £2.20.
Which is also considerably cheaper than Belgium and Holland, IIRC...

About £11 in Feb. last year. They were about £22 in Belgium last time I
stocked up, which I used to do annually on the way back from Assen.
Haven't been for a couple of years though. My last 2 batches have been
from Larnaca & Seattle airports, both around £11.

Might make sense for the fine Havana cigars, but perhaps a bit much for a
    few packets of Woodbines.

You just need to cut down a bit. Start by trying to get your daily
    consumption into double figures.
