I'm Back!

Whoopee do I hear you all say?

Or who the hell are you for all those who don't know me.

I'm back on the bike seen after 6 years without a bike so I thought I'd drop
in say hello and see how many fellow Queenslanders are on the group? (Not
sure if I'm classed as one yet as I've only been here a year).

For those that are interested I purchased a damaged TLS (Yes another TLS)
and I am currently rebuilding her. Just waiting on the fairings and will be
ready to roll. Needless to say I will be looking for a group ride as I have
yet to discover the Brisbane roads via the best mode of transport known to
Man (and woman).

Great to be back and look forward to chatting with you all soon.

It was on a loop ride through Wollombi. I was new to road riding, on my near
new 600 Duc. Riding well withing my limits when this yellow TLS went past at
a very high speed. Nothing dangerous. Caught him some minutes later stopped
on side of the road. I slowed and enquired as to his condition. Gav waved me
on, saying he'd just stopped to put in his earplugs. I rode off at 120 kph
and not very long after Gav went past again at a high rate.

I was commenting that he is or was a very quick safe rider, who caught me in
minutes from a standing start after putting on his helmet. He gave up road
riding shortly after to pursue his race dfreams on the track

Hence the g'day and welcome back ya bloody hoon.

Yes that was a good ride, one of many..... Funny enough the new TLS has
the same Arrow cans. It was the reason I brought the bike thinking it
was my original bike. It wasn't, but it was a good enough excuse.
