    So did you miss me?

Got back from the desert yesterday to a surprise party and got utterly
ratted so apologies for not posting sooner.

Thanks for all the messages - I was honestly blown away by your support
and in case you were wondering, it really did help!

I'm still trying come to terms with my adventure. I'm rather lost for
words to describe what I'm feeling, other than relieved to be back in
reasonable health, sand free and relatively clean. However, I still
seem to have yellowish tinge to my skin which I'm sure isn't from the
    sun!

Living in a very confined space with 7 guys was quite an eye opener.
Having been around you lot you'd think I'd be used to it by now, but
they still managed to surprise me.

Anyway, I've put a few photos on the web for you to have a good laugh
    at.

Just before the start of day 1 - looking clean and nervous:

The view from CP2 on Day 3 - we arrived there from the valley behind,
the climb was all sand and which claimed one stroke victim.

    Some of the support vehicles:

The final morning - a tent full of very happy people:

I think this speaks for itself:

    Thanks all.

You are utterly unhinged. I can't really start to express the envy I
    have.

Well done is probably all I can say.

Well done Suze! I'm full of admiration for what you have achieved,
    you're a star. :)

My resolve is now hardened to increasing my fitness level over the
summer (I'll not be doing any marathons or desert adventures though).

    You are utterly bonkers woman!

You deserve a new knotted hanky and some flip flops before relaxing on a
    nice soft sandy beach.

I'd be more concerned about 613. It must be about to fall out.

I've altered the contrast and brightness of the areas in question:

London Marathon on Sunday if the blisters are in good enough shape by
    then :)

Only problem is that having lived off quality pot-noodles for so long,
my stomach seems to be rejecting real food now. Anyway, all I have to do
is bimble round so shouldn't be too bad if I can sort things out time.

There's actually quite a few of us from this even running in the London
Marathon, one person is even intending to run it with full kit - and you
    lot think I'm mad! ;-)

    know.
