Sat my buttocks on the new R6 and R1 today - lovely stuff. The R1 did fit
slightly better though, due to the different width of the seat at the fore
end - had slight difficulty flatfooting the R6 completely whereas no prob
with the R1. Will be popping down with my licence once the weather settles
to have a go on the R1 demo.

Sadly though, I can't justify either - the R6 I have is already way bike
    more than I deserve.

As an aside, I'll be putting the 9R up for sale very soon - details to be
posted when I get around to it.

Sorry, can't help there, I'm far too impulsive to worry about things
    like that.
Will it still have the gay purple bits?

Loz'll prolly want it back ;)

Have kept it longer than some other ukrmers keep their bikes. I've had it
nearly a year (I think) and came to the conclusion some time ago that it's
just not really for me, but thought I should persevere - there are some
things about it I like, but they're not enough to make me want to keep it
(unlike the R6). Waste of a good bike to keep it - better to sell it on to
    someone else instead.

Just goes to show what a fickle thing bike preference is.
