....that my GPZ900R is finally running well. At least, as well as can
be expected for a 23-year-old Japanese sports bike with 130,000km on
the clock. Apparently the major problems were dodgy spark plug leads
    and out-of-synch carburettors.

Unfortunately it cost me $1,061.40 in servicing to get to that point,
which is about 50% of its value. I should have known that by taking
it to "Eurotune" I'd get charged Ducati rates, but anyway...

Hey, great news! Which one, or is it a Frankensteinian creation out
    of your stock?

I thought he had packed up completely? Good to know he's still around,
bloody good bloke to know if you ever need anything bike-related done.

  5. He was off the air for a while, then started up again out of town. He
was waiting for surgery on that neck injury for a long time and I think
it's been done in the down time.

  6. He's the guy. I used to see him, but I left Bathurst a few months ago.
And to top it off, for all the times he told me not to sell the old
GS1000G for something newer and lighter and more nimble etc, as I was
leaving town I sold it. If I turned up there on something new I think
he'd throw a spanner or something at me. :)
