I'm thinking of starting a business

  1. I'll be hiring a few people.

    But no Catholics.

After all, their way of life is incompatible with my sincerely held
    beliefs.

That's not going to be a problem, is it?

In any situation where there is a conflict between the law of the land and
some bunch of god-botherers monging on about what they've been told to do by
their imaginary friend, the god-botherers should be obliged to choke it down
    dry. End of.

<g> That would make you as bad as them.

You can either be free to be a bigot or be free from bigotry. UK law
trys for the latter, the Pope the former. Tough shit on him.

Oh come on why shouldn't people be allowed a little bias when employing
    folk.
I wouldn't hire anyone I knew was seriously involved with religion so quid
    pro quo.

Just last year a little spin off business started here (that I decided not
to get involved with). But I volunteered to get their IT up and running and
to use my office meantime. Three women, all turned out to be raging daily
attendance Papists, yapping about it all day. So I called Big Ian for some
advice, levered them out and left their own network half done for someone
    else to finish.

So it doesn't seem unreasonable that the sky fairy fantasists should apply
their own No Cunts rule. They are something of a Special Needs group.
