a UKRMer of the name Champ will appear grinning from ear to ear.

I'll let him post the full tale but I will say.

We should have stayed on but TBF I was getting bit cold by the time we
reached Sheffield and the temperature reduced from that point on.

I was pleased with the roll on of the lardy tourer against the 10R. *Of
course* you had the legs on it but it's deffo a full power 996 engine.

Bloody well done that man. Gutted I couldn't make it, but after a
couple of fantastic days on the south coast, I developed yet another
fucking cold[1]. The two-hour ride home with snot pouring out &
sneezing all over me visor, whilst trying to retain some level of
throttle control during the shiver attacks was one of my most
    unpleasant biking experiences ever[2].

Then I did an almighty sneeze in Marlborough & fucked my neck up good &
    proper.

    [1] Fourth this year ffs.
[2] Not as unpleasant as trying to retain direction control when peeing
during a shiver attack though. It was like that scene in Me, Myself &
    Irene, only far, far worse[3].
    [3] I know, TMI.

  17. I blame my parents. Another good advert for not breeding..

And anyway - his is mostly self-inflicted.

  18. Well - you seem to have my cold allocation - I very very very rarely
get them. My immune system is too busy munching the rest of me to be
bothered by something as trivial as a cold bug and kills them in very
    short order. Or something.

I thought it kept up rather well. As soon as I struck west it got very
cold and very damp. I was riding through clouds of fog over the tops,
    which wasn't that nice.

The slog up the A1 was more interesting than normal though - thanks for
    the accompaniment.
