All I am saying, and certainly in this case, is that who cares if a link was
posted months or maybe even years ago... not everyone will have been reading
the group at that time, or even picked up on the thread in question, since.

Fair enough when the same link keeps being posted constantly in the same day
/ week / month.

It would appear to me that *some* people around here like the opportunity to
make a big fuss, not least as another excuse to flame the usual suspects,
who also probably don't always help their cause with some of the replies,
either.

Life really is too short... especially when the life in question is the one
being sucked out of a newsgroup.

75% of regular posters who expressed an opinion. The others don't care
enough to comment. Personally I don't give a toss either. People can
post whatever shite they like AFAIC.

After all I don't read other people's posts here unless I'm looking for
something I can follow up to. I'm pretty sure you're the same.
