Info Request: Puckerbrush Riot

    Way back in the 1970's (I think about 1975), there was a regular off-road
    motorcycle event in Hutchinson, KS called the Puckerbrush Enduro. The end
    of this event, I believe, came when a group of Texas and Oklahoma biker
    gangbangers invaded the event and created a standoff between the Kansas
    State Police and the bangers holed up in the park where the event was to
    have started.

    I'm trying to find some information on this event for an article I'm
    writing, but I haven't been able to pin down the date. Does anyone remember
    this event and, maybe, know when it happened?
