    Hi again

does anyone know if the 5 years I've been riding a 125 with just a CBT
count towards some no claims discount once I pass my DAS and buy a
    bigger bike?

    Thanks

Well, two years did for my son, so I don't see why five shouldn't.

IANAE but I don't see why not, as long as you've been riding it on
your own insurance. I thought, however, the CBT was only valid for 2
years - or have I got that wrong?

It used to be valid forever if you've got a full car licence & 2 years
if not, but it's probably changed a million times since then.

They counted for me (Aviva) but this was a few years ago.

You can keep retaking it every 2 years. Which is a viable option if you
haven't the cash and free time to take the full on theory/mod1/mod2 test.

Yes, I didn't ride for a year after 1st CBT expired (although I did
keep it insured) and then redid CBT 2 years ago (redoing a CBT is up
there with one of the worst uses of a day's holiday).

Thanks all - hopefully it'll count.
