Insurance Q

For various reasons (mainly financial - can't afford FC insurance and
Christmas), I've taken the Bandit off the road for a while. I've got
the SORN confirmation from the DVLA; however, Carole Nash don't do
garage-only insurance for newer bikes - only classics. Any thoughts
and/or recommendations for fire and theft cover for a couple of
    months? Should I even bother?

Cancelling Christmas is a good idea. I hate Christmas.

Christ, you load of fucking Grinches!

I *love* Christmas. I love getting pressies, I love giving pressies, and
I love having a few days off getting pissed and overeating.

And *that's* the true meaning of Christmas.

If you want to make a gift to someone - do it, don't wait until all
the rest of society makes you feel obliged to.

All this buying shite for other folk, who won't really want said
shite, bought with money you'd rather spend on something else, just
because every other soppy fucking **** in the country is doing it is
just about as fucking ridiculous as I can imagine.

Why wait until the arse end of December to get overfed and pissed -
it's not as if there's any shortage of food and booze throughout the
rest of the year, is it?

As for all the associated compulsory cheerfulness, well you can wrap
it in holly and shove it up your arse. With tinsel.

    Here endeth the lesson.
    .... and it's *shite*.

You're in enough trouble as it is, sunshine.

Making me feel obliged to respond to your (now)obvious Yuletide
trolling, when I'd been so good and not posted for ages, and wasn't
missing it at all, and then you go and ruin it.

If you weren't such a nice chap, I'd feel obliged to hate you.

Worse than that is when you tell them not to but they use your credit
    card anyway
to buy you stuff that you don't want and can't afford, and when you finally
think you can give it away to charity without them noticing, they buy it
    again
from the Oxfam shop 'cos it will match the one you already have.

    That's the spirit of Christmas.
