Insurance?

    Im looking at getting a 2001 Honda CBR600F4i. Here in Florida it is
    NOT mandatory to get insurance on a motorcycle as long as you wear
    your helmet, which I would. In either case, when I did look for
    insurance, I got quotes from 500/year to over 9000/per year. Its a a
    freaking joke. Im just trying to see if most people out here insure
    their bikes and if so how much, and if not then why?

    If you ride without liability insurance and injure someone you are leaving
    yourself open to a lawsuit.
    Even with insurance, you would more than likely get sued. I would carry
    liability ins. as a minimum.
