It's that time of year again. Who should I call who do multi-bike
policies, other than eBike & Auntie?

This lot get recommended over on UKGSer

Took over Mitchell & Partners. Looking at the small print at the bottom of
the page they are now part of Capita, which may not bode well...

They are always the cheapest by miles for me.

Norwich Union via Devitts was the lowest quote I got for 2 bikes.

Have just noticed though that they snuck in £20 extra for 'optional' Legal
    Expenses cover.

    The dirty dirty bastards.

Heck, even the National Trust does that these days.

Went to Sissinghurst with my mum a couple of weeks ago. After having to
open my wallet for the parking I had a look a the admission prices
before wandering off into the ticket office. Matey hits some random
    keys, price pops up.

Boxhead in front of his cash register points out that 2 admissions at
his regular price come to a, say, slightly lower number. Matey mumbles
something about the 'optional' gift aid' price and puts in the regular
    admission instead.

Thing is, if he hadn't tried to sneak that one up on me, I would've
happily paid the extra donation, but not if he's trying it on.

I just renewed with Auntie Carol. It was cheap enough that I couldn't
be arsed giving the details of all the bikes to several other
companies. It was £300 and something for Comp.

    Bear says...
It's far worse in the south. NI has a low bike crime rate, but still
premiums are high for some reason.

Nope. Auntie Carol just charged me £00something for 4 bikes Comp.

There is a car loading because the Courts fail to deal with all the fake
whiplash claims. In NI the average payout is 4-5k. It's perjury, plain and
    simple.

IIRC that's because the juries set the damages, rather than the judges. But
ICBW, this was years ago I heard it.

They weren't for me on the 7R, but I've used them for pretty much
everything else. They seem to quote the same policies as everyone else,
but at a lower price. Service is tip-top and they seem to bung in some
random discounts without me even asking half the time.

"I liked them so much I bought a second policy!"
