Insuring bike and cage

Am currently insuring a ZX9R and M5 with Adrian Flux for too much money.
I'd like to move to another insurer, preferably one that offers good deals
for people with two vehicles. My bike policy runs out about six months
    after my cage policy.

What's the best thing to do, get quotes from other insurers for both, then
sign up for the cage first, and add the bike when that policy runs out?

And anyone care to plug an insurer that has offered a great discount for two
    vehicles?

Does that mean any no claims discount can be used on both vehicles?

Depends, dunnit. On many factors, such as how pikey you are, how much
you value your NCD and how likely it is that you'll dent it - bearing
in mind that on a six-wheel policy a knock on one will directly and
inevitably affect the other, whereas with two separate policies this
may not happen, even if you declare it. Depends what NCD you have in
the first place, how much you're paying on current policies, which way
the wind is blowing and how long your piece of string is.
Auntie Carole Nash does a six-wheel policy. Get a quote.

They just told me they do multi-bike policy but nothing specifically for
car/bike. Quoted under £400 for the ZX9R, slightly better than I am paying
now. Then ruined it by quoting £1900 for the M5, about twice as much as I am
    paying now. Gits.

Guess I'll just have to shop around.
