You know your bikes mate, made a nice std phonecall to find out about the
fzr and sure enough, as you said its a twin headlight jobby, so way
overpriced due age as you said - have scrapped that idea completely about
going for a grey import I think (at least through "ultimate motorcycles" in
    queensland)

Applied for a personal loan and lied about how long i have worked at my
current job lols, hopefully a mate I know who answers the phones at work
    will help me out!

If I manage the loan (6grand, 5g for bike and 1g for some protective gear,
assuming this will be enough) will hunt privatly definatly geared towards a
zzr250 everybody seems to think is a good bike for a learner if I can find
one.... I know about the bikepoint website, is there any other websites that
alot of motorbikes are advertised on?

Cheers and sorry for the hassles guys

Also check out your local paper - can sometimes get a bargain there, and check
out the local biker haunts - sometimes the cafes have ads up - ie the Mt White
cafe in sydney often has for sale notices

i got my 'wing from 'import motorcycles' in slacks creek...they were good
to deal with and it was cheap, but didnt put the bike together perfectly
all in all, a good experience
didnt test the warranty as not needed, just had to pull the bodywork off and
    put it back on properly

  6. ....and a few other fields I'm careful not to stray outside of...
Just don't buy a grey 250, or, for that matter, any 250, from a dealer.
Bought privately, that FZR250 would go for three and a half grand if you
    squeeze hard enough.
Bah. Ask nicely, and ye shall receive.

You could try parting it out to Big. Sell it to him one footpeg at a
    time....

VTs are fine upstanding motorcycles! (Providing you can procure them
    for $200)
