Well yes OK I suppose that's what I was thinking of. Trying to do it in a
day means I'm getting tired by then though.

Nah I think my previous plan is best, for those who DGAF about days. An
early evening train and ride down to Troyes. That way you wake up on day one
in La Belle France with stonkingly good coffee and proper croissants and the
beardy weirdy one can puff away in peace. After breaking camp set off down
the N17 (or D93 as far as Bourguignon) and no sneaking another stop until
Dijon, 95 miles leisurely scratching. More coffee. From there on to
    Castellane via lunch.

I wonder if that Children of God mong is still up in the monastery.

Grenoble if Castellane turns out to be too far for fucked backs.

This would actually be worth the planning. For people:

    # who can take a month out
    # no pikeys
    # no cunts
    # 600 cc and 110bhp up
    # a bit nippy
    # who don't crash (often)
    # no cunts
    # who stay in hotels, albeit not necessarily 5*
    # for not less than 4 weeks

October would be my 1st opportunity this year, having a Court date in late
    September.

i'm pretty sure you lost 99% of contenders on the first point.

anyway, it doesn't take 4 weeks to get to grenoble and back, unless you're
doing it in short bursts of 53 feet.

You could chain it to the railings because nobody would nick it

  8. Rosslare <-> Fishguard/Pembroke, off season, cheap as chips for car and
driver. Ripoff bastards in the summer, mind.

Laughably cheap all year round for kike and rider, though.

Teach a man to fish and he and his pikey mates will have the
river cleaned out in a day.

The point, as you well know, was to arse around Southern France and Italy
looking like the idle rich for three weeks.

I suppose 3 weeks would do.

That's the only sensible way to do it if you've got a lot of miles to
get through on the first day. I reckon it's worth about 200 miles in
the bag compared to leaving on a 7am ferry from Dover.

You're wrong. It's dossing in someone else's house as a paying guest
and often being told to **** off and not return until the evening as
    soon as you've had breakfast.

Shackles? I tried to persuade him to go to Chimay this year. It was all
<sucks teeth> "can't afford the bridge tolls getting back across the Severn"
    and shizzle.

Next year, I'll deliver a fully-fuelled GL1200 to his front door and
handcuff him to the driving seat, see if I don't.
