  2. Amazing! From what I've read, the current government is determined
    to squash any preferential treatment for gifted kids. Or are these sink
    schools designed to wear them down?
    As are most politicians, it would seem.

    dunno their exact funding status now but when you consider that between
    them they turn out the best part of 600 incredibly well educated geniums
    every year, many of whom find employment in the higher echelons of the
    civil service, it would be a brave gummint indeed that would take them
    on.

    London ones at that) for a living.

    That was Fleetwood Grammar which was highly regarded in it's day. It's
    day has long gone as it was demolished over 10 years ago:(
