Is clutch fluid and brake fluid the same?

    Was all fired up to ride the FJ last week and then discovered no
    pressure on the clutch due to lack of clutch. Very strange that this has
    dropped without me notiicing it but now need to work out why. I've got
    some DOt3/4 brake fluid and recommended lcutch fluid is dot 3 or 4. is
    it the same stuff, ie. can I use the brake fluid for the clutch or is
    there anythign different??

    Yes, the same fluid for hydraulic clutches and brakes.

    BTW, if it's an FJ1200, they tend to loose hydraulic fluid from the
    slave cylinder, the wee one down near the clutch.
