first made an appearance on this erf and I do have a 'orrible cold with a
sore throat. Less sore now, admittedly.

A Freecycler just popped in to pick up some chilli jelly wot I made and left
me a couple of bottles of beer in exchange - they've gone now too!

Thanks, and I'm sure I will; no bugs can survive this much alcohol. If I run
out of bought stuff I've now got four gallons of home made wine upstairs
too. That'll sort 'em.

 

In these days of globalisation it's important to realise that it's a
sensible time of evening *somewhere* right now.

 

You have my sympathies. It is a lovely day too, isn't it? Really quite hot
down here in Kent and it's supposed to be even better tomorrow... when I'll
be doing my steering head bearings. Maybe.

 

I was meant to be building some French doors tomorrow, but the
temptation for a blast down to the coast may be too much to ignore.
