Is it too cold for bike riding?

Should I get off my backside and go out on the bike or is the
combination of wet roads and 3 degrees C too risky?

It all depends if you don't mind riding below your normal or indeed don't
mind getting a bit cold. If you do mind take the car. If you don't take the
bike. When it's wet and cold I usually take the GS or car.

Well, I'd suggest you put your clothes back on, then go and take a look
at the FFAQ with regards to posting style.

    No.

Yesterday, the Bandit was carb icing like a bastard and the tyres wouldn't
heat up. Today, it is colder and drier and the bike is running perfectly.
Mmmm, it loves that cold, dense air. Until it rains. Then it ices its ikkle
carbies. The only bike I've ever owned that was worse for icing was the
    GTR1000.

The roads round here are reasonably dry now. They were icy this morning
though. Ugh, I don't like riding on ice. Now they've dried, the tyres are
warming up a little and I thoroughly enjoyed my little shopping trip.

Something about bright, cold, dry weather that I enjoy riding in.

Clearly.. Perhaps you could get a grown-up to read it out to you? Some
of the words are awfully long, aren't they?

I braved the cold this morning.. it would have been a case of leaving
an hour and a half earlier or sitting in traffic for 2 hours other
wise ! I've got a lovely thermal base layer thingy, 3 layers of
polartec under jacket .. and some microfleece overtrousers , I was a
little too hot apart from my hands which were a bit cold but not too
bad. I didn't see any ice howver I did get a couple of idiots in cars
overtaking on roundabouts when I was taking it careful!

As if that'll stop Bedford scrotes stealing it. The office has moved to
Wyvern house on Bromham Road and I park right outside on the side
    driveway.
