Not only that, what about the length of the forks, they look a little
too long to me, and the indicators are... well... odd looking.

Did the earlier CG125s have a side stand?

Mine certainly did, and it was of a similar vintage, by the graphics.

Nice bit of duck tape on there though.
I could do with one on my CG, it's a bit of a pita to only have a center
stand. A side stand can be deployed with a flick of the foot, easy
peasy. On the other hand, I could just prop it up against something
    solid.

I can't get another bike after selling my 250, long story of words gone
    back on and all that.

Someone decided to have it then? Give me a shout if they change their
    mind.

No, JackH didn't get back to me. It's my landlord that went back on his
word. So, it looks like you've got it. I did send you my address, to the
    address listed in your header.

    Try

If you can give me the height of it and the length overall I'll see if
it'll fit in my postman pat van but failing that I'll get my brother
to do a bit of collection with his trailer.

Let me know when it's best for me to collect and you can either have
cash or I'll post a cheque down tomorrow if you want it to go through
    your bank.

I got my KR-1 in a Vauxhall Combo van on the many occasions that it blew
up, so you should be able to get the FZR in the Connect.

The CG fitted ok but I wasn't bothered about damaging that one. I
could fit the FZR in easily if I took the wheels out and fucked about
a bit but that's all too much effort.

The very early ones, like what I had over 20 years ago, only had the
    centrestand.

I'll just have a look in the tech spec documentation I've got for it.

Ok, it says that the 3LN is 1990 mm long, 1100 mm high and 685 mm wide.
    Fueled weight is 166 kg.

It went into a gas powered Volvo 240 ok, with the front seat folded down
a bit. Looked like some sort of freak accident, smelled like one too,
although that may have been the Volvo. :)
