My Ducati ST4S that is. All done, paid up, ready to hoon.

I'm very pleased with the Senna paint job, excepting perhaps the ST logo on
the mudguard but I can live with it.
    Sounding great on the Termis.
The two front side lights are wired into a permanent feed. The new HID dip
is on a dash mount switch and the standard high beam works on the usual
flash/switch, so on full beam both units are illuminated.

That sticker is a bit too large, but other than that tiny point, it looks
    well sweet :)

The wheels are a bit OTT for my taste, but that goes for the genuine
Duc Sennas too. I prefer the MV version (polished silver rims with red
    spokes).

The mudguard logos are the only thing that made me think "?" too.

    Otherwise, very nice.

I wanted it to be reasonably correct. It's the right colour but the finish
is slightly matt rather than polished.

I didn't specify the size to Beav so no complaints. I don't think it's
    worth spending money on changing.
    IRL it isn't so striking.

Oh, it's Beav's fault is it?

    I see...)

Looks nice, is that black got a hint of metallic in it ? Can't tell for
    sure from the photos.
I've just had a phone call from the guy who won the auction from the
insurance company disposal of my ST4s. Fellow member of the Scottish
Ducati Club. I hadn't posted anything about the incident on the forum
but he'd seen some footage of the bike at the Edinburgh Festival
cavalcade with the club. Was trying to get some background on the bike
and was kind enough to give me a chance to buy it back.

I've decided to send him the red key and all the documentation that I
    have for now.

Quite tempted but the reality is until I've got closure on my divorce
I'm not really in a position to do anything that involves spending money
    or storing bikes.

I've been looking at cheap(ish) sports tourers to compliment my ZX10R &
Tenere and the ST4S has appeared on the radar as being an option. The
only thing that puts me off is that it's a Ducati and I wasn't overly
impressed with the last one I had.

Hang on, surely the ZX10R *is* a sports tourer by now. A lardy one at
    that.

  15. VFR800. I love mine. Ignore what everyone says about VTEC. It's good.

It's a Honda so I wouldn't give it space in the garage.

Nobody said VTEC was bad. They said it comes with hideous servicing bills.
I wouldn't give it garage space either, mind.

Ducati John had an SP2 track day bike on the bench last week. We were
looking it over, I couldn't find a single reason run the POS above a 996 or
    998.

It's plain simple easy to repair black.
Forget all the barrack room law you ever heard about divorce. It's
exceedingly arduous and difficult and requires forward planning. In years.

I believe the two bikes sound the same. It passed the MOT however, they are
    not marked in any way.

I've realised I need a carbon tank protector and I think I'll just get a
    mudguard at the same time.
