It never rains but it...

....comes through the roof and fucks up my newly-decorated second bedroom,
which I have just noticed this morning. So that's the car fucked (see "Oh,
bother" thread below) and now the house is fucked. I haven't broken any
mirrors, encountered any black cats or pissed off any gypsies lately so I
don't know why the world is being so unkind at the moment. I just hope
there is some kind of cosmic rebalancing down the line so I win the lottery
or something.

 

Well, you could always go for a walk and try to force it by keeping an eye
out for black cats and deliberately crossing their paths.



A black cat crossing your path is LUCKY.
It's the americans who got that one arse backwards.
(I think the reasoning is that a black cat is a witch's familiar and if it's
crossed your path it's decided to pay you no heed this time)

Not if you are driving and you run it over. That would be bad luck for both
driver and cat.
