The sun finally made it .. The rain finally left us and moved off to the
    east.
Bright and brilliant.. I sat on the porch, drank some of that rich and
    aromatic
Folgers and watched as the sun came out in all it's glory.. What a sight..

A couple of the ol' pards came by .. while they were backing those old
Harleys into the curb, I could tell those boys were ready to ride.. And what
a day for it.. The temps were still in the forties, but those guys were
    dress-
ed for it.. Jackets, chaps and insulated gloves..

We finished off that pot of Folgers and told a few stories .. In light of
    the
past few days of lousy weather, we'd shared some memorable rides to-
gether.. in some pretty extreme conditions.. Those stories seemed app-
riate .. Re-telling always seems so satisfying.. and fun..

The guys didn't have a specific destination, just wanted to get out for a
    while..
They also wanted to take a close look at the recent mods to the Green
Vulcan, since they'd not ridden wtih me lately.. We unwrapped the Green
One and they looked it over.. Of course, the performance came into the
conversation and I'd say, my friends were favorably impressed..

Since the temps were still down in the forties, I declined to run with them
and since there wasn't anywhere specific in mind, we decided we'd catch
a ride on another day.. That works for me.. Regards

I've been putting some miles on...

I left the pretty weather in Dallas that I brought in from Florida,
only to get up through Arkansas and it turned to shit. All the way into
    Nashville...it sucked!

Looks like I'll have to get back to Florida and gather some more of
    that weather...
