You wont ever change the mind of total bigots - they have long since
closed their minds to anything other than their own beliefs. However,
the 'supporters' who tend to be poorly educated working class people
stand a chance of enlightenment once they understand actually it's not
really black people coming over here who have taken their jobs. The
reason they haven't got jobs is because we're in a recession and their
skills (if, indeed, they have any) and not required at the moment.

Once we come out of recession (which may never happen in our lifetimes)
and there are jobs for all and jam on every slice of toast they forget
all about the bogey man.

Why? Just because they have beliefs that are different to yours, why
should they be persecuted? I can no more prove the non-existence of a
'sky-fairy' as you put it than you can - or anyone else for that matter.

I may know there is no God in my heart, but I wouldn't dream of stopping
someone else from believing in something if it gives them some solace or
a reason to get up in the morning and do a little good.

should try reading the BNP's constitution, particularly the bit which

I find I am in 100% agreement with the honourable gentleman. I am
pretty upset that they got in but they are in appearance[1] more
attractive than their ranting egg throwing opposition. So I'd expect
they'll gain some support from waverers just by (in this case) being
the victims of intimidation.

[1] of course it won't take much to see through if the proles can be
bothered.

 

I think you'll find that only allowing them to pray (or whatever) at home
and closing all the churches wouldn't be at all popular - even with the
non-believers.
