How true. I went round Addlington/Chorley/Preston/Euxton/Belmont/Darwin for
a notably superb 100 mile bimble this afternoon. Stopped half way for a brew
at "Southfork" [1] and half an hour playing guitars. Not a second of the day
under anything but a bright blue sky and warm air. No wind either. Magic.

There was the odd cloud in the Lake District, it being a known cloud
generator, but otherwise faultless. What helped was the whole
afternoon I was completely "in the zone" - operating totally on
instinct, not having to think about what I was doing at all. Doesn't
happen often, but when it does...

Plod all over the place a little further south. Pissed me off seeing two
camera vans, but as least I *did* see them and could act accordingly. (No
    wheelie's past 'em)

I re-enacted the ride again today coz it was either that, or put some
concrete border stones around the fucking lawn. Bollocks to that. No Plod
today and the chances of seeing them tomorrow are highly unlikely.
