The answer is neither, all forecasters lie for a living.

    BOSM weather:
So that is BBC for you?!
The sleet showers did completly disappear for Sunday in Derby, London and
Folkestone. Now Sunday is even SUNNY?
Saturday went to HEAVY SHOWERS now?

The think the only proven way to know the weather is to wait for the day, be
at the place, and look up in the sky...

I used to work for an American - pretty much every day of the 12
months or so that he was my boss he'd make a comment along the lines
of "what the **** is with the weather in this country". He wouldn't
believe me that it's actually warm and dry in the SE of England
    compared to Northern Ireland.

Here is another saying for your list
If you don't like the weather, wait 10 minutes.

  12. In uk.rec.motorcycles, Ralf Mayer belched forth and ejected the
    following:
I trust the BBC's weather more than anyone elses. That and my sixth
    sense piece of seaweed.

England is on an island, east of the Atlantic Ocean. It's difficult
to forecast what the weather will be like here because when clouds and
weather fronts hit the west coast of the island they aren't easy to
    predict.

In Germany you'll find that most of your weather comes across many
thousands of miles of land before it reaches you so it's easier to
    predict.

British people have the habit of talking about the weather a lot, this
    is because it's so unpredictable.

Dress code for BoSM: Dress for England. It oculd be sunny, but it
could rain so do not forget your waterproofs.
