It's not dead, it's taking a little nap

  1. Send a sample to head office. M&S used to be the kind of company that
would try to sort something out for you, but in recent years have been
run by cunts, so who knows.

If nothing comes of it, you've only lost a holey sock.

I've had a few chats[1] with people who've openly admitted blocking
bikes from filtering. So far the reason is "it's not fair", and they
don't think a motorcyclist deserves to be able to "push in".

Even if you point out that you're out of their sight in seconds and the
miniscule amount of time it may add to their journey doesn't really
make any difference, and they then *agree*, it doesn't make any
    difference.

I think it's a british queueing thing. I've had the odd one going into
Manchester try to block me[2] but nothing like Lozzo's chum.

[1] calm, quiet ones, not shouty ones
[2] it's usually a half-hearted drift towards the line, but as that
makes the traffic in the other lane move over it doesn't always work.

Why would he want cctv footage of him filtering and riding into the
back of another vehicle? No matter who was to blame Lozzo wouldn't
look good and for a small amount of damage it's better to ride away
    and forget it.

Surely attempted murder needs intent to kill to be proved and cutting
across the front of a bike filtering on a motorway is more likely to
go down as 50-50 blame than anything else.

I filter a lot faster than I know I should and if I had someone cut
across me I'd feel some responsibility for the accident rather than
claim attempted murder. Of course, I wouldn't tell the other driver I
felt guilty and I'd try to claim off his insurance but that's because
    I'm a ****.

Depends on the motive/intent I suppose. Obviously an English court
would consider it a justifiable clean up act.

It's proving it that's the difficult part. If the rider is filtering
then he'll almost always appear to be going faster than he is so any
witnesses will probably blame excess speed for the accident. The car
driver then claims he had looked before moving across and all of a
sudden the bike was up his chuff.

Which I guess is *technically* possible. He might not have seen loz.
I had one near Galway two days ago who definitely did see me, having
pulled out of a junction in front of me then moved over to try and stop
me white lining it round his outside, ****.

Proving intent in this case would obviously be difficult, but if
proven, a deliberate act whose most likely outcome would be death for
the victim could still class as attempted murder, even if no actual
intent to kill was there. Like shooting someone in the course of a
robbery, for example - you may only intend to disable them but you
also know that it's very likely to kill them.
