    <WUN's back>.

Ah, good to see you're back. Heal well.

By the way: if you didn't want to come to the Tour, you could've just said
    so.
    :)

The good news is that the hotel didn't charge for your room, so I'll
bung some dosh back when I'm back in Blighty myself (in South America
for the next couple of weeks).

    You clumsy ****.

  5. Are you allowed to do your own maintenance on your new metal bits? It'd
be a shame not to use all that stuff in your garage for a good purpose.

Now how did this accident happen then?

    Oh and GWS.

IIRG one of Britain's fighter aces, Ginger Lacey, had a habit of going
into combat with one foot hooked into the pedals for rudder control
and the other foot tapping nervously on the floor of the cockpit.

Or you could try angling for a slow-flying sky-blue GRP single-seater
    on the NHS.

    Work in progress says...
I disagree. After my mini-stroke 2 1/2 years ago my left arm is still
unable to feel any sort of heat, cold, pain or any other sensation[1],
it makes life very difficult. All I have is about 50% sensation in the
tops of my thumb, index and middle fingers, and even less feeling in
just the tips of the other two. There have been times when I've seen
myself damage the arm in some way and not been able to feel it, and I
used to pick up extremely hot things that visibly burnt my skin without
    realising.

When I'm standing talking my left arm is usually tucked close to my body
or I put my hand in my pocket to stop me bashing things with it.

I don't like it, I'd like the feeling to return.

[1] I still have full motor control and use of my left arm and hand.
However, when I'm doing fiddly things that I used to take for granted I
do have to watch what I'm doing very closely to be sure the fingers are
doing what I want them to do.

Haha, that's what I want to know as well. Though it seems you can also
have resorbable pins now as well.

You'd have to get the correct tools - there have been several cases
where orthopaedic sugeons didn't use the tools (screwdrivers etc) that
came with the kit and ended up totally fucking up the implant.

The correct ones are made from the same alloy as the implants, and if
you use the wrong ones any little bits that come off can cause
galvanic corrosion, where the two metals in effect become a battery
and can cause the implant to fail. Ti6Al4V only then :)

Good to see you're at least functional again. Prognosis sounds good
anyway, so let's hope for a full recovery.
    Ha! Tis but a scratch.
Damn. I was looking forward to the discussions on exactly how
    fuckwitted you'd been. Never mind.
