I don't know if the NC24 engine is much different to the NC30 but I find the
V4 power delivery to be pretty fucking smooth.

GS500F now that it has a fairing. Performance as good as your bike.
Not a 4, but small, light and almost bulletproof reliability.
    And _cheap_.

  3. And if you decide not to keep it, you can normally make a tidy profit on
    Steve's bikes.

    ;-)

    Show me the figures.
A quick data scan shows 20kg heavier and 15bhp less. I don't think so.

    Depends how rough it is.

The NC24 has gear driven cams like the NC30, so it's the more reliable
engine, not that I had any issues with the chain driven cams on my
    VF400F.

Fork seals are a piece of piss, if the stanchions aren't pitted to
buggery. Rest of it would be a good service and MOT. I'd say yes to
buying it, but £500 seems a bit steep when you consider that TD got his
lovely NC30 for £600 needing pretty much the same work and it's never
    been on the HPI register.

Mr Loukes, we'll take it at £400.

Yup. Sod the inline fours - she should buy a Ducati Monster like every
other burd. It's not as if she goes fast anyway.

She sat on mine once - it was too big for her.

Apaprently, Guzzi V50's are the ideal burd-bike - especially if ridden
    at a constant 55mph.

Kept up with the big boys on the elephant run. Up to when the brake

Yes I think even Mr WUN made a profit , even though it did involve a
    trip to casualty.

    Good point.

Nice little Enfield, she wants. Low seat height, vibrates like a Rampant
    Rabbit, excellent choice.

    Make me an offer.
