TT gone, Cops With Sodding Cameras in its place. No explanation.

I guess I know why, but what a disappointment.

And on the day that the 130 lap was done, too.

If ever they wanted to demonstrate their lack of understanding of the TT
    ethos...

Well, yes. But it *could* be that the helicopter footage is being held,
    as part of an investigation.

Copying the footage would be a relatively quick and easy job, IWHT. I
suspect it's out of respect for those involved, and possibly to avoid
charges of sensationalism from the Daily Mail. But it does show they really
    don't get what it's about.

    Odd innit?

Rich, had a go on a 1250 today, i dwarfed it, so much so i couldn't
change gear without standing up. the rear brake was a nightmare. Got on
a MT-03 again & it just rocked my nuts off. The MT is miles smaller
than the Bandit, the legs & ankles do it for me.

Odd really. BTW, the MT is utterly fantastic, not much power, but it
    gives you wings....

Dunno what it is, but I find the gear lever is at an odd angle. Fine if I
wear the Sidis, even better in trainers, but in the Docs I wear for my usual
commute I find the odd false neutral. I may have to experiment.

  7. AOL. *sigh*

I can't think that this would have happened in other sport. They would just
have edited it out with some cod-sympathetic commentary.

You can change the gear lever, but the brake (rather more important)
can't be changed. You could chop a bit out & then re-weld the lever.

I had to move the gear lever around 20% on the blade, as i could only
    get first.

The B1250 had loads of guts though, but I'll stick to two bikes. Blade
for going bonkers on & the MT for traffic.

Mates going for a FZ6 & it is fucking shite. Horrible bike, it just
doesn't know what it is. The GSR 600 was a very nice ride though, very
    nice.

Even the WRC didn't pull it a few years ago when a co driver got
    plugged.

BBC Northern Ireland seem to have coverage on their schedule at 10:50.

Channel 973, if you have a skybox.

    Me either.

Got to say the whole show was respectfully done too, the BBC remain well
    worth the licence fee IMHO.

I just wish the fuckers had put it on nationally.

Yup - good coverage of the racing (with the caveats previously noted) and a
respectful item at the end. Tastefully done.
    Indeed.

It *was* shown on ITV4 the next day with an appropriate front-piece.
The umpteenth repeat of TT:100 Greatest Moments got bumped to make way
    for it.
