It's far from perfect, and it's people who do this who make people like us
riding behind them think we're clairvoyant because we say stuff like "I knew
he was going to change lanes about a second before he indicated".. because the
intention to change lanes is signalled by the driver checking the adjacent
lane, rather than their indicator, whether we were conscious of that or not.

Tell you one place I definitely will not give way to people merging... on
roads where 2 lanes become 1 and there is a sign preceding the merge point by
500 metres and drivers insist on driving in the lane which disappears right to
the very end.. either through stupidity or rudeness... whichever it is, they
can go behind me.

what a fool, everyone knows right of way = mass x velocity

 

If you are driving a truck and put indicator on, it means that every car
behind you must immediately accelerate into the spot to keep the dirty big
slow horrible truck out of the lane, don't let it (the truck) get in front
of you .thats why trucks stay in the right lane for miles in Sydney traffic,
they know they will not be able to get into a turning postion before their
turn off if they leave it to the last block.

wtf are trucks doing in the right lane in the first place?
In Melbourne there are signs that CLEARLY state trucks should use the
left lanes especially on the westgate bridge and the tunnels.
Do they?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Sometimes they occupy all the lanes and create the mother of all
congestion behind them.
Cops don't seem to want to enforce this little gem though.

Im actually surprised moike bothered , but if it gives a vicarious to

lol I got given the bird today by a sheila who was totally insulted by
the fact that she decided to look into her rear vision mirror after god
knows how long and see the ZZR occupying it. She quickly shifted into
the left hand lane that was empty for the last oh... 200 metres and then
flipped me the bird !
