    Fly to the east coast of the USA (I've already seen the west coast) and buy
    a GPX250. Check out as much of the cost as possible, before shipping the
    bike (and me) to the UK. Not a particularly long way so shouldn't be too
    $$. Check out as much of Europe as possible on the bike before selling it
    London most likely.

    I'm thinking June next year.

    Comments and kicks in the nuts welcome and expected!

    There is NO WAY you can use a US bike in UK, US bikes are left hand

    from what I hear you will be lucky to find a non dirt bike 250 in America -
    then again I could be wrong..

    most seem to start on r6's before moving to the r1 and finally a turbo
    hyabusa, then something with jet engines or go for the Harley

    Except they call them EX250s

    Cost wise though you'd be better off getting an R850 or similar in the US though
    I'd think - you'll pay not much for one and it'd be a better bike for doing the
    Ks on
