A spider in my tank. The little **** ran out from under the tankbag and
jumped into the open filler. Nothing floated to the top when I filled
    the tank.

Any ideas what the remains will do to the FI system?

I would hope the fuel filter would catch any big bits. The organic soup
should make sod all difference, unless it was a *really* big spider.

Nothing. Give thanks you weren't filling up at an Esso
    station.

Legs included, it was about the size of a 2GBP[1] coin.

[1] I was going to say a Quarter, but you may not have seen one.

I guess they don't have a sense of smell, you would think the fumes
    would have put it off.

  9. Dunno but stuffing a bird in there is an oft quoted old time cure for
dealing with spiders down the wrong hole.

    Where's:
#I know an old lady who swallowed a goat
#she just opened her throat and swallowed a goat.
#she swallowed a goat to catch the dog.

Nothing, but watch out for the bike developing "spidey senses", things like
swinging from skyscrapers will give it away, oh and the blue and red paint
    job.

Heh. As everyone knows, a goat is a dog's only known natural predator.
