    Hello Jason,

I would like to thank you for the pleasure of meeting you.
Your amazing. Take care of your family. They are treasures.

    Matt,
Thank you for picking up my bike and taking it to the repairers. I am in
your debt, and yes I know I still owe you a beer.

Beer is the currency of choice in ausmoto... but VB is a devalued currency
    ;-)

Clem... if I give you money to buy beer does that count as beer as well ;-)

Actually I was wondering if I sent some money up for running around costs
(and a slab of beer of course ;-) if you could do me a favour and give the
guy I bought the v11 from a ring. He's got my standard pipes up there
(couldn't bring em back with me on the bike). I mentioned I knew a guy in
Brissy that I might be able to convince to pick em up.

No pressure, but if you could pick em up and put em at your place you'd be
doing me a big favour. I could arrange a courier or pick em up on the way
to or back from visiting Jodz's brother in Townsville. I have the guys
mobile and home numbers and he said just to give him a ring and arrange a
mutually convenient time. If you can't thats kewl too though, I'll arrange
something else, this just seemed a bit simpler.

them on and bring them down at Supers time)

    errmm yes.
I rode it down from brissy, left late wednesday arvo did 300 kms stopped at
Ballina, next day did a tad over 1000kms and stopped at Tarcutta, next day
did the remaining 450 or there abouts to home.

Not huge distances, but 1000 kms in a day is about as much as I fell
comfortable doing these days. I get very stiff and sore at not much more
than that. If I'd managed to get away earlier I would have done it in 2 900
ish days, but 1800 kms down the pacific and the hume to home in one day is
something I'll leave to the iron butt contestants ;-)

I don't have any photos I've taken yet, but this is the bike photo from the
    advert.

I'm not stressed about getting them anytime soon, as long as they have a
corner to hide in at your place until we can organise something sometime
    that's fine.

I don't actually have your real e-mail, and I've lost your mobile number. I
don't really want to post Kim's phone numbers in the news group. If you
send me an e-mail to I'll reply with Kim's contact
    details.

oh and sorry Kim isn't a busty twenty something female, he's a fifty
something grey haired daytona riding guy ;-)

    Ta muchly btw Clem

I didn't have to beat him towards a Guzzi... he went there all by himself!

    G-S

P.S... you got a speeding ticket in 200m on a guzzi?

Yes well I'm > <this close to one myself.. and it could be a Le Mans but in
black and red.. Your's ins't black right?
yes.. and I'm not happy.. I will contest it on the grounds that 1) the
officer didn't follow us long enough to decide if I was intentionally
speeding (which I wasn't as I was trying to haul the thing up), 2) I was on
an unfamiliar bike and just getting a feel for it. and 3) I have been pinged
once for going 64 in a 60 so would I be that stupid to flaunt the law again?
I will admit to being in the wrong if the court says so.
