New back-tyre time after the trip to PI for the Supers. (Actually a week-and-a-half overdue but I'd lost my wallet and cancelled my credit cards and it caused an awkward liquidity problem. It almost caused an awkward infringement-problem too when I pulled alongside a copper to ask him what he thought about his new-for-Qld BMW R1200ST and then realised my rear was bald when the light changed and he motioned me forward!) I've been using BT45s for almost 10 years now and the only exception was the last front I put on the R1100GS. (Which was a Metzeler Marathon) Yes; the R1100GS was the bike I subsequently wrote off when I lost the front on a gravelly corner! $165 fitted for a 130/80 V18 and my back-end is as safe-as-houses for the next 12,000km or so.
