Job Interviews

Yep, English - and for this year at least, a Humanities class (which
is apparently ACT system speak for a History & Geography class). Next
year, though, they'll be wanting to make better use of my ESL teaching
- the ESL qualification was apparently a big thing in my favour, as
they don't have anybody there qualified to teach it, and they have a
growing population of kids who need it. Most of my golden moments in
teaching have come from ESL classes, so I'll be looking forward to
that.

LOL, as if! The extra money will make replacing the SV easier, coz
it's almost worn out now <evil grin>

Oops, sorry - English as a Second Language. It goes through name changes
every so often, and I can't keep up - EFL (English as a Foreign Language),
and I think the latest one has a D for Dialect in it somewhere...

Congrats Betty. We all knew YOU were good-enough; it's comforting to
see the interview panel were good-enough to see that too!

 

Really? I thought it was just the bolts holding the gear shifter and
brake/clutch levers that were getting worn out!
