    The team I head up is short of some bodies

    Working for me!!!

    Live support in Blue Chip Bank


    Skills you will need/acquire( some needed to start but all not essential o
    start, training available in relevant areas)

    WebSphere

    TAM

    LDAP

    MetaDirectory

    Unix Scripting

    Wily



    The job involves


    Live support - dealing with incidents anything from user isn't set up
    correctly to its knackered sort it NOW

    Problem resolution - we find root cause and work out whats needed to
    fix, This can be anything from scripting some wizzy new process to
    passing it to other teams with relative info

    Wily Introscope- we do LOADS in this space.

    Other stuff - anything from process improvement to DR testing to
    whatever we can think of that improves stuff


    Oncall - optional - currently about 1 in 5/6 weeks, basic on call
    standby is decent cash, email for details with what yours skills are

    Team are a good bunch, some characters, some newbies, the job is coming
    in at decent grade so you will be expected to do the job.

    Working from home etc. We have VPN dial in I'm happy for people to work
    that way for some days particularly if it helps with family life etc. In
    fact I'm in the process of proposing a weekly rota to my boss

    WebSphere App Server on AIX versions 407 through to 6.1 in network
    deployment topology from 5.1 onwards

    TAM 5 and 6

    LDAP Sun Directory server

    Wily Introscope 7.2 in MOM/ Collector model with extensive use of EPAgents

    Unix AIX 5.3 onwards
