Any old gits here with joints that crack?
The top of my spine/base of the skull has started doing it,
especially if I'm looking up or riding the gixxer, whereas
riding the tourer is OK. Sometimes it feels like being hit
with a cosh. Is it anything to worry about? JFGI doesn't work.
    Can I get ape-hangers for a 1990 GSXR1100? Would WD40 help?

Ho yuss. I've started taking Glucosamine (sp?), could be my imagination,
but it seems to be helping.
Are you sure you haven't suffered internal decapitation, like that kid
driving the stock car a while ago?

What are the symptoms? Posting bollocks on ukrm?
Thinking seriously about BMWs or Volvos?

It certainly works for me. I get my glucosamine + chondroitin by
internet order from healthspan. The acid test being that if I run out of
supplies, and don't take it for a few days, you can hear my knees
    cracking like Flay's in Gormenghast.

Warwickshire - fairly cold and damp these days.
    I'll try the glucosamine.

the cracking of the joints is not normally something to worry about,
but the feeling of being hit by a cosh indicates either a neural or
circulatory problem, which if you can control it might turn into an
excellent party trick but otherwise is something to be a bit concerned
about. talk to your gp and get referred to a head and neck specialist,
and try to avoid provoking it while "driving or operating heavy
    machinery".

I just bought some from Zipvit. The 1500mg glucosamine tablets are the size
of a nuclear submarine. I can swallow them okay, obviously, but some people
might want to get smaller ones. They do cod liver oil at a reasonable price
    too.
