What you on about? All mine were RWD.

  3. They last a long time.
    Plenty of 740s, 760s, 940s, 960s still around.
Not to mention the T5, pretty fast for a bus.

T5 is FWD :) The older ones (before they made the quick stuff like the T5)
were mostly RWD. The 360 2.0 has the be the best one :)

I very nearly flung a brand new 360GLT across a Cambridgeshire field
many years ago when I was picking it up to have an alarm installed. I
ran out of brakes, so turned the car into the corner at way too fast a
speed. It went all sideways on me and mounted the verge, wriggled lots
and eventually straightened enough for me to force it back on to the
road, just in time for the second part of the S bend.

I had to go back to our workshop via a jet-wash.

Many people used to put some 20 to 60 kilos of ballast in the
trunk to gain a bit of traction. The only trouble is that once you
loose it in a corner the extra weight in the rear makes it even
    more interesting.

OTOH it works both ways this FWD / RWD thing. At first I
felt that FWD was a bastard in snow and loose gravel as I was
used to influence turn rate in tight corners with the throttle.

  10. Then it's a good job that I didn't mention it. :)
I must have been thinking of the 960 turbot.

I'd suggest in reply that you got a fucking clue about anything before
posting. The 340 is nothing like the 240 series. It's like comparing a
Honda C90 with a Honda Blackbird. Anyone can shove a fucking great V8 GM
motor in a big car and outrun sports cars in a straight line. As
standard the 360 handles like shit and runs out of brakes.

If you are going to persist in posting here, then try also getting a
clue about how to do it properly, there's a link in my .sig to the
ukrmcbt. Read, digest and act upon it please.
